Social media marketing
An audience worthselling to, builtone post at a time.
Social media works when it is consistent, genuinely useful, and recognisably you. It fails when it is an afterthought posted whenever somebody remembers.
Overview
The most common social media problem we see is not bad content. It is inconsistency. A burst of activity for three weeks, then silence for two months, then an apology post about how busy everyone has been. Algorithms and audiences both punish that pattern.
Fewer platforms, done properly
You almost certainly do not need to be on every platform. You need to be on the one or two where your buyers actually spend time, posting consistently enough to be remembered. A well run Facebook and Instagram presence will beat a thin presence spread across six networks every time.
Content people have a reason to look at
The businesses that do well on social are the ones that show the work. Real projects, real results, real people, behind the scenes, questions answered. Stock imagery and motivational quotes are invisible now, because everyone has seen ten thousand of them.
Short form video, without the production budget
Short vertical video currently gets more organic reach than anything else across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. It does not need a film crew. A phone, decent light, and something worth saying will outperform an expensive corporate video that nobody watches past the logo animation.
Paid social, where it earns its place
Organic reach is limited and getting more so. A modest, well targeted paid budget put behind content that has already proved it resonates is usually far more efficient than boosting posts at random.
Community management
Comments and messages answered promptly, in your voice. A social account that ignores its enquiries is worse than no account at all, because it is visible evidence that you do not respond.
